Carnival of Venice

The Carnival of Venice Fantasie is a composition for solo piano by Julius Benedict, a German-born composer and conductor who lived in England during the 19th century. The piece is based on the popular Italian folk song "Il Carnevale di Venezia," which was commonly performed during the Carnival of Venice, a traditional festival held in Venice, Italy.
