In this course you will:
Be introduced to the basic components and techniques of violin playing
Learn exercises to develop bowing, fingering, and rhythm skills
Play simple melodies and beginner songs with confidence and musicality
Go from playing Open Strings to you guessed it, Ode to Joy!
Perform in an ensemble made up of you and your fellow violinists in a Trala recital
What you need to participate:

Maria Pino

She/Her

Trained in the renowned "El Sistema" in Venezuela, Maria continues to serve as a violin/viola professor and director. She is an absolutely motivating, positive, and caring teacher. She patiently looks for opportunities to introduce the appropriate theory to students during lessons, and keeps them motivated and positive while they gain the physical and mental skills required to learn violin.
