Go Tell it on the Mountain
Go Tell It On The Mountain is an African American spiritual that tells the story of Christmas. In the 1960s, the civil rights activist Fannie Lou Hammer combined this song with the spiritual “Go Tell Moses,” adding the phrase “let my people go” to the chorus.
