What’s your name, where are you from, and when did you start learning violin?

Hi, my name is Sally Brown. I've been playing the violin for almost two years, and I got started with Trala about one year ago. I live in Blacksburg, Virginia.  

Why did you decide to learn violin?

I picked up the violin because when I was young, I always wanted to play the violin. I feel like when you play all instruments, you’re playing out of your spirit and your soul. But the violin is a singing instrument and it just comes from your heart. And that's why I chose it.

What are your goals?

I'd like to play all different kinds of music and start a really creative quartet. And I love to make musical videos. I would like to get better at violin as best as I can in order to do those things and be able to play solos.
